Gritting salt
Gritting salt is used over the winter months to tackle slippery surfaces when there is snow and ice. Applying gritting salt to roads or driveways reduces the freezing point of water and, in turn, reduces the risk of slipperiness and the corresponding hazards.
Gritting salt must be applied preventively in order to guarantee the safety of driveways and public roads.
