Urea de-icing grains
Anyone looking for an alternative to gritting salt, often ends up looking at UREA. Urea is a type of fertiliser that, in some cases, can also be used as a de-icer.
But be warned, if you wish to de-ice sensitive surfaces such as concrete or metal. e.g. a pedestrian bridge, you are advised to choose good quality de-icing grains.
We recommend NOCOR. These de-icing grains are used in airports, where there are strict conditions on the use of the appropriate de-icing agents. NOCOR grains are the safest de-icing grains on the market.
